Do Quicken Loans offer the option for bi-weekly mortgage payments?

Quicken Loans does offer an option for bi-weekly payments, but unlike traditional bi-weekly payment plans where the mortgage payment is split in half and paid every two weeks, Quicken Loans utilizes a different approach. Through their “HALF Payment” program, clients make a half payment every two weeks. However, it is essential to note that this is not an actual bi-weekly mortgage plan, as the half payments are held in escrow until the full payment amount accumulates; only then is a full payment made to the loan each month. Therefore, while clients do make payments equivalent to an extra month's payment per year, reducing the principal balance faster and potentially saving on interest, these payments do not immediately apply to the loan like they would with a traditional bi-weekly plan.
