Do I need to use iFit in order to operate a NordicTrack machine?

While iFit offers enhanced features and interactive training options on NordicTrack machines, it is not an absolute requirement to operate the machine. Most NordicTrack treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes can function with basic manual modes that allow someone to adjust speed, incline, and resistance without an iFit subscription. However, accessing the full range of workouts, global locations, and personalized coaching that iFit provides would require a subscription. Without iFit, one can still undertake a variety of workouts but will miss out on the interactive and tailored experience offered by the iFit service.
